- Tom Yum Goong is the second largest budget of Thai movie history (US $5 million).
- In addition, the action will include Muay Thai, Muay Kojchasan, Wusu, Capoeira and K1. The highlight of this movie is the 4 minutes unedited fight scene (non-stop), the problem was, if there's any mistake during the fight, they had to begin and start to take it again. It took 3-4 days filming just for this 4 minutes fight scene.

- "The filmmaking folks, Prachya Pinkaew (Director/Producer) and Panna Ritthikrai (Director of Martial Arts and Stunt Choreographer), who opened our eyes with Ong Bak and Born to Fight are ready to unleash Tony Jaa in Tom Yum Goong. Martial arts film fans around the globe are waiting to finally exhale as Tom Yum Goong is set to open on August 11th. Thailand's silver-screen prince, Tony Jaa, is looking to once again amaze us with his incredible, physically-acrobatic abilities, especially in a standout 4-minute scene."
- und dann ein Kommentar von Jaa selber:
- "The action in the first floor includes 40 stunts and 100 extras. It is a huge scene. We had to prepare and practice before we really did it. It is very long and very difficult. You see, usually when there are fighting scenes, they separate in many cuts and change the camera angles. But in this film, we show the fighting in a very long shot. It takes a lot of talent and energy. I need to be very fit for it, too."
